Cleaner must be cheaper.

For two centuries, carbon only flowed one way.
We extracted, burned, and emitted - faster than nature could absorb. The atmosphere now carries 420 ppm CO2. The cycle is broken.
ZERO intercepts this cycle by taking organic waste that would otherwise decompose or burn, carbonizes it into stable biochar, and either stores it permanently or uses it to replace fossil fuels in industry applications.

Until Zero, no technology could close the loop
at scale, at cost.
Traditional carbonization is too expensive to compete with coal. We changed the economics. Our process operates at a cost equivalent to — or in some cases cheaper than — coal, making Zero the first carbon removal technology that is economically inevitable.
