What is Zero Technology?

We take organic waste and convert it into stable carbon using a breakthrough technology.

Traditional biochar production relies on high-temperature torrefaction, hydrothermal treatment, or low-temperature pyrolysis—processes that are energy-intensive, capital-heavy, and difficult to scale.

They require inert or vacuum environments to manage explosion risk and often lose a meaningful share of carbon through gasification, driving processing costs higher than feedstock collection and limiting deployment to niche, ultra-cheap inputs.

Zero is different.

Our technology operates with very low energy input, requires no inert environment, and eliminates explosion risk entirely.

Using off-the-shelf equipment, we achieve the highest possible biochar yields with 100% carbon retention, while accepting both dry and wet feedstocks—including food waste.

Zero unlocks scalable, efficient biochar production that finally
works at the volumes the climate demands.
